Best Pottery Studios in Denver: A Local Guide (2026)
Share
Denver's pottery scene has grown a lot in the last few years. Whether you're looking for your first wheel-throwing class or a studio where you can make work independently, there are real options now — each with a different feel, price point, and focus.
The truth is, you can't go wrong at any of the studios on this list. Joining a community of craftspeople and picking up a new creative practice is one of the best things you can do for yourself, wherever you end up. Denver's pottery community is collaborative, not competitive — we all want more people making things with their hands. Here's a look at what's out there.

Denver has more pottery options now than it's had in years. Every studio on this list is run by people who genuinely love clay and want to share it — you'll be welcomed wherever you go. The best advice is to visit a studio or two before committing. They're all happy to give you a tour or point you toward a trial class.
One more thing: if our classes at Claya are full when you're looking to sign up, we'll happily refer you to one of the other studios on this list. We'd rather you start making pottery somewhere than wait around. The Denver clay community is better when more people are in it.
