Pottery Classes near Englewood

Englewood sits just south of Denver proper and carries a distinct identity shaped by its historic downtown, accessible light rail connections, and a community that values practical, grounded living. If you have been looking for a creative outlet that fits into a busy schedule, Claya is about 20 minutes north in Denver's RiNo Arts District. Our studio is built for real people who want to learn something new, not just watch someone else do it.

Why Englewood Residents Love Claya

Englewood is well connected to the rest of the metro area, and that connectivity is one reason so many south Denver residents find their way to Claya. You can drive north on Broadway or I-25 in about 20 minutes, or take RTD's light rail to the 38th and Blake station, which puts you just a short walk from our studio. Pottery becomes an easy addition to your week rather than a complicated detour. Our students from Englewood often say the commute gives them a welcome mental transition between the demands of the day and the focused calm of the wheel.

Classes and Membership

Our Intro to Wheel Throwing course runs six weeks and welcomes complete beginners. You will learn the fundamentals of centering, shaping, and trimming in a supportive class of no more than 12 students. When you are ready to push further, Wheel Throwing II explores more advanced forms and surface decoration. For ongoing access to wheels, kilns, and glazes, our 24/7 memberships are available at a founding rate of $140 per month, including personal storage and kiln access.
