I bought a membership online—what's next?
Welcome to Claya! We are lucky to have you as a member. After you purchase your membership, we will reach out by email and phone to schedule a brief studio orientation. This will include an overview of the studio, your designated storage shelf, and your key-code for 24/7 access.
Can I start using the studio immediately?
Yes, today, or, whenever fits your schedule. We also offer weekly studio tours every Saturday at 9am, so feel free to drop by this weekend if you would like to take a look before purchasing online. We look forward to welcoming you to the studio.

When will my membership renew each month?
Membership renewal dates occur on the same numerical date that the purchase occurred. For example, if you sign up and purchase a membership on the 15th of the month, your next renewal and credit card charge will occur on the 15th of the following month.
Can I get additional shelf space?
Yes, if you would like additional shelf space for storage, Claya offers the following additional storage options:
Request a top shelf (no height restriction):
+ $10/month (total of $150/month with membership)
Add a second standard shelf (12" x 48" x 18"):
+ $20/month (total of $160/month with membership)

Can I bring outside glazes and clay bodies?
To ensure safe kiln firings, we unfortunately do not allow outside clay bodies or glazes. All clay and glazes must be purchased directly from Claya. We aim to provide a variety of clay bodies and glazes at near wholesale prices.
We also aim to offer reclaimed clay for sale (vacuum pugged and de-aired) for lower-than-wholesale prices.
Can I pause my membership?
Unfortunately, no. We ask that you cancel your membership and rejoin when you want to become a studio member.
