Private Events & Corporate Team Building

Private pottery parties & corporate team building in RiNo. Book the studio for your group — birthdays, date-night crews, offsites, client nights — with a dedicated instructor and clay on every wheel.
Claya is a big bright pottery studio at 3440 Walnut Street in Denver’s RiNo Arts District. Your group has the room to itself, works with an instructor who keeps things excited-chill, and takes home every piece they make (fired and glazed, ready in about 2–3 weeks; shipping available for out-of-town guests).

Why it works for groups
Pottery gives a group something to do together that most people have not tried. The wheel takes both hands and full attention, so the session stays active and the time passes quickly. Quieter folks get something to talk about that isn’t work — and everyone leaves with a piece they made.

Deposits, refunds & studio rules
We’ll confirm deposit and cancellation terms with your written quote — they can vary by group size and date. Typical flow: hold the date with a deposit, balance before the event, and a clear cancel window in the quote email.
Studio basics: closed-toe shoes, clothes that can get a little clay on them, aprons provided. No outside clay or glazes. We handle firing and glazing; finished work follows our studio timeline. Full studio policies live on Support.
Frequently asked questions
Does anyone need pottery experience?
No. The instructor walks everyone through centering and pulling up a first piece. Beginners are the norm.
What should we wear?
Comfortable clothes that can get a little dirty. We provide aprons. Skip long flowing sleeves.
What ages work?
Handbuilding works well for ages 6+. Wheel throwing is best for ages 10+ with adult support, or adult groups.
What happens to the pieces?
We fire and glaze them. Ready for pickup in about 2–3 weeks; shipping available for out-of-town guests.
