Pottery Classes near Arvada

Arvada has long been one of the most creatively spirited communities along the Front Range. From the galleries and boutiques lining Olde Town Arvada to the family-friendly festivals that fill Ralston Creek Trail each summer, there is a genuine appreciation here for hands-on artistry. If you have been thinking about trying pottery, Claya is just a quick drive east in Denver's RiNo Arts District, and our studio was built for people exactly like you: curious, creative, and ready to get their hands in clay.

Why Arvada Residents Love Claya

Arvada's growing arts scene has cultivated a community that values making things by hand, and Claya is a natural extension of that energy. Our 6,000-square-foot studio sits in the heart of RiNo, roughly 20 minutes east on I-70 or via Wadsworth and I-76. That easy commute means you can slip away for an evening class without battling traffic, and still be home before the night is over. Many of our Arvada students tell us that their weekly pottery class has become the creative anchor of their week.

Classes and Membership

Our Intro to Wheel Throwing course runs six weeks and is designed for complete beginners. You will learn centering, pulling, and trimming at your own pace, with a maximum of 12 students per class so you always have room and personal attention. Once you have the fundamentals down, Wheel Throwing II takes your skills further with more advanced forms and surface techniques. For those who want unlimited time at the wheel, our 24/7 studio memberships start at a founding rate of $140 per month and include private storage, kiln access, and our full glaze library.
