Pottery Studio Hours in Denver’s RiNo

Looking up pottery studio hours in Denver’s RiNo, start here. Claya is at 3440 Walnut Street. These are the public hours. Student open studio is a different schedule, for people already in a class.

Public hours

  • Monday: 10am–6pm
  • Tuesday: 10am–6pm
  • Wednesday: closed
  • Thursday: 10am–6pm
  • Friday: 10am–6pm
  • Saturday: 10am–6pm
  • Sunday: 10am–2pm

That is the door. We are not open 24/7. We do not run tours. If you want to be in the studio making, the way in is a class, a one-night workshop, or a membership you sign up for in person. You can compare those on pricing.

Student open studio is not public hours

Enrolled students can come practice during open studio, any of these windows, for the length of their course. This is not a 3-hour block you book, and it is not a public drop-in.

  • Saturday 12–8pm
  • Monday 10am–2pm
  • Monday 5–9pm
  • Thursday 10am–5pm

Students can come any of those times. Staff is on hand. These hours overlap public hours on some days and run later on Saturday. Sunday public hours do not include a student open-studio window, and Wednesday is closed for the public too. Open studio is included with six-week classes, including Intro to Wheel Throwing and Intro to Handbuilding. It is student time, not a walk-in for the neighborhood.

What the two schedules are for

Use public hours if you are stopping by 3440 Walnut, asking about a class, or signing up for membership in studio. Extended Founding membership is $140 a month. Buy online, then come in for agreement, shelf, and keycode. studio membership page.

Use student open studio only if you are already enrolled in a course. It is extra practice time around class, not a separate public calendar and not a ticket for a few hours.

Classes do not follow the front-door clock

Public hours are when the studio is open to come by. Class times are their own thing, listed on each product. Current beginner sessions include Thursday 6–9 PM Intro to Wheel with Sami, Tuesday wheel, Friday morning wheel, Sunday handbuilding 1–3:30 PM, and the one-night Face Mug Workshop. Check pottery classes in Denver for which seats are open. A friendly overview lives on beginner pottery classes.

Free street parking is around the studio, and we are near the 38th & Blake light rail station. Wednesday, the building is closed. If the door is what you needed, that is the whole hours list.
