Six weeks · clay, tools, glazes & firing included in class, plus student open studio (open studio clay sold separately)
Perfect for absolute beginners or anyone coming back to clay, in a small group with your teacher right there with you. Over six Friday afternoons you'll go from centering, opening and pulling to cups, bowls and plates, trimming, throwing taller and glazing, all at your own pace.

$300 for all six classes
Included: clay, tools, apron, our glaze library and all firing for class, plus student open studio during your course. Open Studio is 10am–6pm Saturdays, Mondays, and Fridays. Clay during open studio is available for purchase on the table near the aprons.
Where: Claya, 3440 Walnut St in RiNo, street parking near 34th and Walnut, all around the studio.
Finished pieces are ready for pickup within a week of your last class.
Who it's for
Absolute beginners and anyone coming back to clay. No experience needed: your teacher works with each student at the wheel, and you learn at your own pace.
Good to know
- Small group, $300 for everyone.
- Open Studio is 10am–6pm Saturdays, Mondays, and Fridays. Practice between classes is included during your course.
- Wear clothes you don't mind getting clay on and keep nails short if you can. Aprons are provided.
- Need to cancel? 5 or more days before the first class: refund minus a $12 fee. Closer in: 6-month store credit. Once the class starts: no refund or credit. See cancel or switch a class.
