One-Day Pottery Classes

One-day pottery classes are two-hour try-it workshops. Choose the wheel or handbuilding, make a few pieces, and we glaze and fire them for you. No experience needed.

Choose your workshop

  • Wheel throwing. Learn to center the clay and pull up your first bowls and cups on the wheel.
  • Handbuilding. Build by hand using pinch, coil, and slab techniques. No wheel involved.

  • All the clay for your session
  • Use of aprons, tools, wheels, and glazes
  • Guided instruction from a Claya teaching artist
  • Glazing and firing of your finished piece, with no extra kiln or firing fees
