Delayed Opening in November-ish

Claya pottery studio is coming along. Put some shelves together, scraped some old paint off the floor, and put down a layer of epoxy-based paint. It's slowly starting to come together.
We had hoped to open in October, but it appears that we will be opening later in November.
Our permitting skills have not been excellent. We apologize for this. Some of us did, in fact, fail Microeconomics 101 in college. And it shows.
Claya has a plumbing inspection on October 7th. And another second plumbing inspection later in October at a date to-be-determined by the city.
We will also have an electrical inspection in October or November once we get our kilns delivered; Skutt is a little delayed with orders; And we were a little delayed in submitting ours.
In short, we will be delayed in opening probably a month or so, maybe longer.
Claya is still aiming to be a good place to make pottery at an affordable price. Just a couple speed wobbles in the vase wall.
The Thermco Trapzilla (great name for a clay separator), requires a Sewer Use and Wastewater Permit. We mistakenly thought it could be done with a Quick Pemit. It cannot be done with a Quick Permit.
Sometimes we start to worry about the delay, but then we realize that worry does not accomplish much. We are happy that we are installing the Trapzilla. We are also happy that someone out there decided to name a grease/clay separator after Godzilla.
